High School Aid Station Challenge
After 239 runners voted in the High School Aid Station Challenge only 3 (THREE) votes separated the top two schools! Doherty, who won last year at the Incline, retained their title by going Reggae at No Name Creek! They be look’n good man with a check for $2000! Palmer at Barr Camp, Sand Creek at Bob’s Road, Mesa Ridge at the Incline, Cheyenne Mountain at the finish and Colorado Christian at the start each got $1000 for doing an aid station. Special thanks to the 70 or so Summit Ministries students for helping Mesa Ridge HS haul the 80 gallons of water to the Incline Overlook aid station and to the Manitou & Pikes Peak COG Railway for taking the 17 Palmer High students to Mountain view for the hike over to Barr Camp after they encountered very bad weather earlier in the day when attempting to hike in from Elk Park!

Air Academy High School won the participation challenge by having the most kids running in the race and will get an aid station next year for the Aid Station Challenge.
